As you may already know the Festival Latino is coming up! It will be held on August 14th and 15th from 12-8pm.
CAPA is willing to make a contribution to LEON if we are able to provide some time volunteering at the information booths.
This is a wonderful opportunity for LEON to have a strong presence at the festival. I know many of you enjoy the festival and am asking that if you are able to, please be kind with your time and volunteer for a few hours. The festival is a fun,safe time and a very easy way to connect with the community, demonstrate our support, interest and commitment to our city.
Please strongly consider this and let me know by Tuesday, July 27th when and if you are able to give of your time. Of course, if you know of anyone else that may be interested in volunteering for LEON (family, friends) please let me know and contact me with any questions.
