About me

I came to Columbus OH from Argentina in 1989. I got my master degree in 1993 from OSU, College of Engineering. I have been working with the Latino Community since 2000. As an active member of LEON since 2003, I got involved through the Health Committee in a variety of projects to advocate for the improvement of Latino health in Columbus and empower Latinos to become active participants in their own health care. As Co-Chair and Chair of LEON Health Committee (2007-2010) I have the honor to lead a very diverse and dynamic group of professionals committed to create a culturally competent environment in which Latino health needs are met by increasing communication, awareness and collaboration among health care and social service providers in the community.
I live in Clintonville with my husband David and my two children, Andrea and Derek.
