Project Manager, Champion of Children
United Way of Central Ohio is seeking a Project Manager, Champion of Children. The Project Manager manages all aspects of the Champion of Children (COC) program, which supports United Way’s broad work in Education. The Project Manager establishes and maintains relationships with individual donors, Patrons and Champion Partners and manages all communication efforts for the program, including the Education Journal. Supports the nomination and selection of annual COC award winners. Responsible for planning and implementing the annual COC Signature Event as an opportunity for increasing awareness, understanding and support for COC.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, liberal arts or a related field and a minimum of 2-3 years of work-related experience. Candidate must have excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, be detail-oriented, able to multi-task and excel at cross-functional collaboration. Strong computer skills required, including fluency in Microsoft Office and other online and database programs. COMPETITIVE SALARY with EXCELLENT benefits and FREE parking.
